Keyboard with Kimmy is more than a music studio—we’re a community built on confidence, progress, and joy. Located in Broomall, PA, we help students discover their voice at the piano and gain the courage to share it. Through our unique group lesson model and regular performance opportunities, students learn not just to play music, but to perform it with joy and self-assurance.

Who We’re Looking For
Musical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in music (or working toward one)
- Strong classical piano skills (late-intermediate to advanced level)
- Excellent sight-reading and rhythm accuracy
- Solid understanding of music theory and ear training fundamentals
- Familiarity with a wide range of beginner and intermediate repertoire - can assess and find level appropriate music for students
Teaching & Classroom Skills
- Confident leading small group classes with energy and structure
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for various learning styles and ages
- Strong classroom management and pacing skills
- Enthusiasm for teaching children ages 6–14
- Commitment to positive reinforcement and growth mindset teaching
- Ability to follow a structured curriculum while adding personal creativity
- Reliable transportation and punctual, with excellent time management
Bonus Skills
- 1+ years of experience teaching piano (group and/or private lessons)
- Degree or coursework in music education or piano pedagogy
- Experience in early childhood music programs or group method teaching
- Ability to assist with recitals, events, or marketing content (e.g., taking photos/videos)
- Basic understanding of music notation software (NoteFlight, or similar)
- Experience accompanying or playing in ensemble settings (a plus)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Teaching group piano lessons to children
- Setting up keyboards and trouble shooting each class
- Performance Prep for KwK’s quarterly recitals
- Attending Team Meetings and Quarterly Recitals
- Communications with team members and clients on an as needed basis
Starting Compensation
Schedule & Commitment
- Weekly Schedule
- Mon: 4:00–8:15 PM
- Tuesday: 4:00-8:15PM
- Wednesday: 4:00-8:15PM
- Thu: 4:00–8:15 PM
- Sat: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Attendance required for quarterly recitals (Sunday afternoons)
- Attendance at all scheduled meetings – held at predetermined days and times – is required
- Minimum 1-year commitment, with opportunities for long-term growth
